今、さいたま市の中学校では、色々な運動部が大会真っ盛りです。当教室にも、大会に出場して頑張っている生徒がたくさんいます。中3生には、敗退が決定して部活を引退し受験モードに切り替える生徒や、県大会出場が決まって部活の引退が先延ばしになった生徒がいますが、大会前に話しを聞いた時には、「負けて、引退したい」と言う声もチラホラと出ていました。ただ実際に相手と戦った時には、全力をだしてくれただろうと思っています。2年以上打ち込んできた努力が現実に結果となって現れるので、それをきちんと受け止めて欲しいと思います。勝敗は別として持てる力を発揮して、全力で戦うという経験が、子供たちを成長させてくれます。高校受験にも全力で挑めるようにサポートしていきます。
